Like sitting with a child and reading a good book together. Deedee loves reading with her grandchildren. Watching them smile at stories and get excited about animals gave her an idea. She decided to write her own book.<\/p><p>That book is The Zoo. It follows a little girl named Cassi who gets a surprise trip to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa. It is a sweet, simple story full of animals and happy moments. The kind of story children enjoy and remember.<\/p><p>Deedee hopes families will read this book together. Sit down, slow down, and enjoy a few quiet pages together. Sometimes that is all a good story needs to do.
