Dr. Ifie Sekibo built his career on turning failing organizations into strong ones. A Harvard Business School alumnus with a PhD in Credit Management, he led the rebuild of what became International Energy Insurance, then led Heritage Banking Company as its CEO, growing it into one of Nigeria’s stronger banks before retiring in 2022. But numbers were never the whole story for him.

Over seven years, he sat through hundreds of interviews with people who had lived through business collapse, broken relationships, and personal crisis.
